Investigators say 44-year-old Michael Goodson of Blackwood, New Jersey was killed in the Wednesday night crash.
The accident happened near the of 12th Street on-ramp around 9:00 p.m. that night in Edgemoor, Delaware.
Police say Goodson collided with the rear of a 2006 Ford Mustang and was thrown from the bike.
A second motorcycle then struck the rear of the first motorcycle.
Still lying in the roadway, police say Goodson was then struck by a 2006 Toyota Sequoia as well as tractor-trailer. Both drivers stopped.
Goodson was pronounced dead at the scene. The operators of the Mustang and the second motorcycle were transported to the Christiana Hospital where they were treated for their non life-threatening injuries.
This crash remains under investigation and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this accident to contact the Crash Reconstruction Unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2620.
