The shooting happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. along the 1200 block of Bridge Street.
Police say someone shot a 46-year-old man one time in the abdomen during the course of a robbery.
The suspected shooter, described as a black man wearing a black hat, black jacket, cream colored shirt and khaki pants, fled the scene running westbound.
The victim's condition has not been released.
