Man to plead guilty for celeb hacking

LOS ANGELES (AP) - March 22, 2012

A plea agreement filed Thursday in a Los Angeles federal court says 35-year-old Christopher Chaney has agreed to plead guilty to nine counts, including wiretapping and unauthorized access to a computer. Chaney faces up to 60 years in prison.

A hearing was set for Monday.

Chaney was arrested as part of a yearlong investigation of celebrity hacking that authorities dubbed "Operation Hackerazzi." Prosecutors say there were more than 50 victims, including Johansson. Nude photos she had taken of herself were posted on the Internet.

A phone message left for defense attorney Christopher Chestnut was not immediately returned.
