Getting kids to eat healthy

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - May 29, 2012

Experts at the University of Oregon say research has found people correlate a glass of water with healthy food, and sugary drinks with items from convenience stores and fast-food restaurants.

Researchers say preschool children ate a lot more vegetables when they drank water instead of soda.

One study author says told The Register-Guard newspaper that drinking water with dinner can give kids a healthier mindset.
