The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on the northbound lanes of Governor Prince Boulevard.
Police say a driver lost control of his rig and crashed into a utility pole, bringing down live wires onto the truck.
The driver was trapped in the wreck for nearly an hour and firefighters pulled him to safety.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
