GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 60-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Gloucester City, New Jersey.
It happened at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday on Route 130, near the Royal Farms.
Police say a Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling south on Route 130, entering the I-76 east ramp, when a pedestrian entered the vehicle's path and was struck.
When police arrived to the scene, they found a man on the roadway with multiple injuries and a car nearby with a smashed windshield.
The pedestrian has been identified as 60-year-old Douglas Cella, from Sewell, New Jersey.
Cella was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver appears to have remained on the scene.
No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.
