The man is described as a black male with a medium complexion, in his mid to late 20's. He is approximately 6-feet-tall, 200 pounds, with short to medium length hair. His face was partially covered with a scarf.
Police were called to the 300 block of Deerfield Road in the community of Scottfiled at 7:28 Wednesday morning the the report of a sexual assault. Once there police learned a man had broken into the residence earlier and sexually assaulted a 46-year-old woman.
Police searched the area and went door-to-door interviewing residents but did not locate a suspect who is described as an African American male, 6-feet-tall, about 200 pounds, with short cropped hair. A reverse 911 call was sent out to residents in the area informing them of the incident and investigation.
