HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - July 22, 2008
The Health Department says the 27-year-old Lower Merion Township
woman is recovering and has been discharged from a hospital.
The state health secretary, Dr. Calvin Johnson, says the
mosquitoes that transmit West Nile virus are most active around
dawn and dusk. Among other advice, Johnson says people should
consider wearing long-sleeved shirts, long pants and socks when
going outdoors, especially around dawn and dusk.
