A suburban Philadelphia man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder of his former girlfriend's teenage daughter.

Mark O'Donnell was found guilty in June of strangling 14-year-old Ebony Dorsey while she was babysitting O'Donnell's young daughter at his Plymouth Township apartment in December 2007.

Montgomery County Judge William Furber also added a consecutive 11 to 22 years to the 49-year-old man's life sentence Thursday for his conviction on rape and abuse of corpse charges.

Prosecutors say O'Donnell killed the Wissahickon High School honors student after a night of sex and smoking crack with her mother. O'Donnell then put Dorsey's body in a plastic container and hid it a wooded area.
