No chairs and loving it

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - March 3, 2009

They don't have any.

Miller has ditched chairs for exercise balls.

And the kids at Bauder Elementary School in Fort Collins, Colo., love it.

Ten-year-old James Howell says they're "awesome."

The fourth-graders have to pay attention to sitting, which means they're paying attention.

Miller says "when your body's engaged, your brain's engaged."

Of course, there's some wiggling and bouncing.

But Miller says on balance, the balance balls help the children be more productive in class.
