A 28-year-old Dover man has been sentenced to life in prison for shooting a teen to death after his girlfriend argued with a group of women. Delaware prosecutors say Andre Blake was sentenced Thursday to life plus 45 years. He was convicted in January on murder and attempted murder charges.

In September 2007, authorities said Blake's girlfriend was arguing with young women in Dover when police said he physically threatened the group.

Then, police said Blake pulled out a gun and started shooting at a woman who had walked away. She was talking to people in a car nearby when a bullet from Blake's gun killed a 16-year-old boy in the car.
