Apartment building fire in Center City

CENTER CITY - June 24, 2009 - The call went out around 12:30 p.m. for the fire in the 1200 block of Walnut Street.

When they arrived, they saw heavy smoke coming from the roof of a four story apartment building.

The fire was declared under control around 1:00 p.m.

There is no word on any injuries, or how the fire started.
