Police say one victim was shot multiple times in the chest around 1:25 p.m. in front of Magellan Manor apartment complex. The victim, whose name was not released, had surgery a short time later and was hospitalized in serious condition.
Two men were being questioned by police, but no charges have been filed.
The other shooting victim, identified only as an 18-year-old man wounded in the 500 block of North Indiana Avenue, was hospitalized in stable condition.
Further details on that incident were not disclosed. But authorities were trying to determine if it was connected to gunfire that broke out in the same area Friday afternoon.
