A woman broke a sprinting record last week at a New York track meet. Her time was impressive, but it's another number that is grabbing attention. The fleet-footed lady is 95.

To champion Ida Keeling, you have to look to the back of the pack. She is now America's oldest sprinter and has been shattering records for nearly 30 years now.

Also falling victims to Keeling's prowess are myths that seniors should slow down.

"I just close my eyes, and say, 'Count your blessings Ida, Count your blessings,'" Keeling told reporters. "Stay alert, and focus, and that's it."

Keeling is an example that it is never too late to start something new.

She didn't start running until she was 67.
