A Philadelphia police officer has been arrested for allegedly passing worthless checks.

Officer Rabecca Bozeman, 33, was arrested for an incident that happened back on August 4th in the 2100 block of Cottman Avenue.

Bozeman, investigators say, went to that location and made a purchase with a bad check.

The amount of the check was not disclosed.

After an investigation by internal affairs and the D.A.'s office, Bozeman was charged.

Bozeman, a 3-year veteran assigned to the 15th District, has been suspended with intent to dismiss.
