The shooting happened around 12:30 on Tuesday morning at the intersection of Sixth and Vine streets.
The victim -- a 21-year-old man -- managed to drive himself to Cooper University Hospital, despite being critically wounded.
Detectives plan to interview the victim and other potential witnesses, but so far have not indicated that they have uncovered any motives or suspects.
