NASA is taking former astronaut Edgar Mitchell to court.
The space agency wants a camera back that Mitchell took to the moon during the 1971 Apollo 14 mission.
Mitchell contends the custom 16-millimeter movie camera was a gift from NASA.
The camera was to go up for auction in a proposed sale of space-related items.
Mitchell's lawyer says ownership claims aside, NASA waited too long to try to get the camera back.
