"Shiva" had marked his 14th birthday at Cohanzick Zoo in Bridgeton on June 22.
Curator Kelly Shaw told The Press of Atlantic City "Shiva" developed cancer in his lungs, spleen and kidneys.
"Shiva" and the zoo's other white tiger, "Ganesha," were brought to the zoo as cubs from a zoo in Sweden in 1997.
Shaw says "Ganesha" appears confused since "Shiva" died.
