Handyman shot, robbed while on the job
CHESTER, Pa. - September 25, 2011
It happened around 1:40 a.m. Sunday on the 1300 block of Congress Street in Chester.
Police tell Action News that the female homeowner called for assistance to get into her home.
When the 31-year-old handyman arrived and got out of his vehicle, he was approached by two armed men.
The suspects demanded money and a cell phone, and when he refused the victim was shot at least one time in the chest.
The handyman was rushed to Crozier-Chester Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.
So far no arrests have been made.
