Lottery officials said Friday that Barbara Matta and Karl Herkert of Kearny took home more than $9.4 million after taxes.
Matta purchased the winning ticket in the July 26 drawing at Dollar Subs in Kearny.
The couple claimed their prize early this month.
The lottery says the long-time couple didn't have many items on their wish list but did say they plan to wed in the near future.
