The accident happened just before 11:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Blue Anchor Road.
The woman was found on the shoulder of the road and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the striking vehicle did stop nearby.
The road was closed for several hours as police investigated.
The woman's name has not been released.
No charges have been filed and the case remains under investigation.
