Smokestack at old FMC site in Marcus Hook, Delaware County demolished

MARCUS HOOK, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A towering brick structure in Delaware County has come down.

The smokestack at the former FMC site in Marcus Hook was demolished at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials say there will be road closures in and around the area of 10th and Penn Avenue during the demolition.

People are asked to avoid the area until after 12 p.m.
