Man dead after Burlington County barricade

BURLINGTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Burlington County police say a man who barricaded himself inside a building for hours is dead.

Police were called to West 5th Street and Fernwood Avenue in Burlington around 9 p.m. Sunday.

The standoff ended around 11:30 p.m.

Originally, Action News was told a man was taken into custody. However, that information changed Monday morning.

We are waiting to learn more from police.
