Water main break closes Deptford Mall

DEPTFORD - December 30, 2007 A 14-inch water main beneath Clements Bridge Road cracked at around 5:30 in the morning. Only businesses were affected and the mall had to close.

Deptford's mayor urges motorists to avoid the area.

Mayor Medany is an active member of the Pipefitters and Plumbers Union. He says crews are working hard to get water service up and running, and that mall and other businesses in the area should reopen Monday.
