Alleged drunk driving is being blamed for a crash in Gloucester Township that sent several people to the hospital.

The crash happened along route 42 South, around 3 a.m.

Police say a car driven by 24-year-old Noel McAteer hit the center guardrail and bounced back onto the roadway where it slammed into a Minivan.

McAteer was ejected from her car and was taken to Cooper hospital in critical condition.

Three people inside the minivan were treated for minor injuries. Police have now charged McAteer with drunk driving.
