The service was held at Saint John the Baptist Church in Tonawanda.
Gary grew up in Buffalo and worked as a sportscaster there before coming to Philadelphia and Action News.
Gary's wife Kathleen and his two sons, Tucker and Nathaniel, were there.
Gary lost his battle with prostate cancer back on Friday June 19th.
