Officials say the fire that hit a Philadelphia supermaket early Wednesday started in the basement. it was at the Save A Lot supermarket on the 5100 block of Rising Sun Avenue in Olney. It was reported just before 6 a.m.
Firefighters needed about 15 minutes to get the flames under control. The sprinkler system in the building helped keep the flames down until more help arrived.
There are no reports of injuries.
